Job Summary
Key Accountabilities
· Work with cross-functional teams to plan tests and define test objectives, test procedures, and instrumentation needs.
· Build test setup for Engine prototype test
· Manage test safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
· Calibrate instruments and interpret experiment results.
· Monitor real-time test data and troubleshoot/resolve issues during tests.
· Analyze test results, prepare reports, and present findings to engineering and leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
· 2+ years of experience in component and engine testing of Gas Turbines or similar turbomachinery products.
· Hands-on experience with Rig or Engine testing of Gas Turbine components.
· Understanding of gas turbine design and operation.
· Familiarity with instrumentation and Data Acquisition Systems
· Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team.
· Be adept at handling ambiguity and making data-driven recommendations.
· Exhibit the capacity to communicate complex technical ideas and information concisely and logically across a wide range of topics.
· Think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
